The world’s leading construction trade show
All trades, sectors, techniques and solutions will be brought under one banner, with maximum interconnection between the areas, to make this the world’s number one construction and architecture exhibition.
Over 3,000 exhibitors and 400,000 trade visitors, 20% international, and one third of them specifiers or clients/contracting authorities are expected.
The three exhibitions have teamed up in response to demand from manufacturers, keen to keep pace with the changes sweeping through the construction sector.
Joint exhibition reflecting the transformation of the sector
In France, the Plan Bâtiment Durable (sustainable building plan), a product of the government's Grenelle Environment Forum, has led to extensive changes in the regulatory framework, requiring the construction industry to achieve measurable energy performance results. The RT 2012 regulation, in force since 1 January 2013, requires all new buildings to be low energy (less than 50 kWh/m²/yr). A huge nationwide energy efficiency programme has also been launched, with the aim of renovating 500,000 homes each year from 2016.
With its huge energy saving potential, the building sector has a strategic role to play in the energy transition.
Bringing together these 3 exhibitions under one roof will, for the first time, provide professionals with a 360o overview of the industry, with access to all the expertise, innovations, solutions and materials needed to tackle common challenges.
