Discover our 10 guided trails, which will take place between 7th and 12th November.
You will have the opportunity to visit buildings that are outstanding in terms of architecture, interior fittings and in environmental and technological innovation. Open Batimat OFF Guide

13e Paris Rive Gauche/ 21st Century construction project reconciling environmental demands and housing density

This trail will take you from the new Paris Val de Seine School of Architecture to the Francis Soler housing, via the Paris Rive gauche ZAC and you will be able to see how the Paris of the 21st Century is being built to reconcile environmental demands and the need for high density housing.

Biopark, Conversion of an existing building in the Biotechnology Centre

L’Ile Seguin – Rive de Seine/ Urban renewal, from former Renault factories to environmental imperatives

This trail offers you a visit to the south of Boulogne-Billancourt. Climate, environmental and social challenges have been at the heart of the scheduling and implementation of the project since its very beginnings.
It will provide you with a view of the challenges overcome by the Tour Horizon by Jean Nouvel and a series of housing developments at the cutting edge of responses to environmental demands.

Rive de Parc residential and retail building, 500 homes with underground parking, offices, shops and activities, outdoor development and landscaping

12e Bastille – Quai de la Rapée/ Monitoring architecture in the heart of Paris

From the Place de la Bastille to the recent Quai de la Rapée social housing projects carried out by the architect Frank Salama and the Hamonic + Masson practice, this trail offers you a walk through the 12th district and a revelation of 15 years of varied architectural creation.

A trail involving 11 buildings including :

Residential building, Construction of 62 low cost homes (photo attached)
St Antoine Hospital, Construction of a new building (Emergencies, Polyclinic, Intensive Care and refurbishment of the Crozatier entrance)
Housing and crafts centre, Mixed building housing craft business focusing on wood and new information and communication technologies + 12 low cost homes

17e Rue Rebière- ZAC Clichy/ Architectural experimentation and urban improvement

In the north of Paris, from “Porte de Saint Ouen” to “Porte de Champerret”, this trail provides a view of urban renewal underway in the 17th district. Discover Rue Rebière, and the Clichy and Cardinet ZACs.
The diversity of the architectural creation and the need to preserve resources and save energy mark the identity of this new quarter.

Very high energy performance housing, Construction of 20 homes
Nursery, 66 nursery places, partial demolition, rebuilding and extension of a crèche dating from 1952

15e / Along the tram line

From the Pont du Garigliano to the Porte de Versailles, 3 clearly different generations of housing are featured with structures by Patout (1934), Kagan (1992) and the recent work by the Paris City Hall.

A trail involving 16 buildings including :

Mozart_Lame Nord Building, Construction of offices in the new Seine Ouest business zone (opened 26th January 2007) on the site of the historic EDF/GDF station. Certified high environmental quality project.
Tram line development, Urban integration of the tram line into the boulevard des Maréchaux sud, development of public spaces between the Garigliano bridge and the Porte d’Ivry (photo attached)
Social housing and Artists’ studios, 38 studios and 38 associated homes, a car park

18e Goutte d’or/ New generation and social housing

At the heart of the 18th district, this trail features a selection of urban renewal projects that are underway in this working class quarter.
Here the various housing projects mix environmental and social demands and are gradually helping to change the face of the quarter.

Housing and Studios for musicians, 13 homes and 4 studios for musicians
Nursery, Construction of a communal, 60-place nursery and a staff apartment

18e -19e / Paris in the midst of change

Through a presentation of the Pajol ZAC, the largest city center solar energy project in France, the new City of Paris cultural center (Le 104) and a series of public facilities, this trail at the crossroads of the 18th and 19th districts features the landmarks of a future Paris.

A trail involving 18 buildings including :

Very high energy performance housing, Construction of 10 very high energy performance homes
Student residence, Construction of 143 student rooms, communal and administrative areas, as well as a staff apartment.
School for multiply disabled children, The first school for the multiply disabled and offices and workshops for the STEGC, energy and HVAC technical department, and the DEV, department of green space and the environment

20e Sud/ Urban experimentation and mixed use

From Edouard François’s ambitious Eden Bio project to the RATP Cultural Center by Patrick Berger, as well as the High Environmental Quality social housing project by LAN Architecture, this trail offers you an architectural walk through Paris’s 20th district.

A trail involving 11 buildings including :

Croix Saint Simon Hospital, Extension project on the Avron site: building of new wing for the Croix-Saint-Simon Hospital in order to bring together two hospitals
Social and cultural centre for the RATP, 4 buildings arranged around a semi-public space bounded by RATP tracks and inner circle waste land
Hostel, 31 apartments, including 25 bedsits and 3 studios, two 2 rooms and one 3 rooms, communal spaces (workshops, library, common rooms, dining room) on the ground floor, utility areas (kitchen) and an administrative section

20e Porte des Lilas / From the ring road to the garden

The Porte des Lilas ZAC is part of an urban improvement project for the entrances to Paris with the creation of a major space formed by the roofing over of a section of the ring road, which will restore the connection between Paris and the surrounding communities.
A mixed and balanced programme is currently underway and one of its priorities is to control energy consumption.

Serge Gainsbourg Park, Development of a public park sheltered by the Périphérique
Hostel for young workers and nursery, Construction hostel for young workers and a 60-place crèche, Porte des lilas
Etoile Lilas Cinema, 7-screen Multiplex cinema (1,500 seats) and shops (1,000 m2)

Issy-les-Moulineaux / High Environmental Quality town

As a pioneering town in the field of sustainable development, Issy les Moulineaux has worked to minimize its impact on the environment .This trail allows you to discover the current state of the extensive Forum de Seine and Berges de Seine ZACs, which are reshaping the south west of Paris.
Besides major signature buildings, these ambitious programmes are show cases for France’s commitment to the environment in its urban planning and they comply with its high environmental quality and very high energy performance criteria.

Galéo / Bouygues Immobilier head office, Varied office programme, a business restaurant, multi-function retail spaces and a 5 level, 492 space car park.
Georges Mandel College, Teaching rooms, student’s restaurant, new College, 36 space car park, 6 staff apartments
Social housing, Construction of 168 low cost local authority homes
