Turnkey stands: 30 October from 2:00pm.

Trucks and vans are not allowed to enter the exhibition halls.
Access
No pass is required. Access to the exhibition halls during setting up and dismantling periods is unrestricted. It is up to the exhibitors to arrange for a security guard or other responsible person to man the stand as long as equipment remains: this is the best way of guarding against theft.

Official catalogue
You can obtain your free copy of the official catalogue on production of your exhibitor’s badge at the Organisers Office throughout the exhibition, from 29 October 2009.

Empty packaging, storage of materials
Empty packaging must be removed immediatly and stored by the exhibitors or their carriers. (see Transport- handling customs).

Customs
BATIMAT enjoys the status of a standard bonded warehouse for customs purposes. The Exhibition Centre customs office will be open 9:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Saturday and bank holidays, opening at the request of the forwarding agents the day before.

Safety committee
Stand fitting must be completed by the time the Safety Committee comes round to make its inspection. The person responsible for your stand must be present.

Opening times
Exhibitors: 8:00am to 8:00pm
Visitors: 9:00am to 7:00pm except Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Exhibitor badges
Badges allowing exhibitors access to the exhibition while it is open are compulsory (see form Exhibitors Badges).

Distribution of promotional material
The distribution of advertising and promotional gifts, etc. outside the stands is strictly prohibited.

Events
Sales and marketing actions or events of any kind outside the stands are strictly prohibited.
Noisy equipment or sound systems may be used no more than fifteen minutes per hour and on condition that they do not disturb neighbours (article 11 of the General Rules).

Deliveries
Delivery access for exhibitors: 7:00am to 9:30am (see Viparis file).
Parking within the Exhibition centre for delivery purposes is limited to 1 hour. Any vehicle parked for longer than the allotted time will be removed without prior warning at the expense of the owner.

Caterers
There are no exclusive catering contracts at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition centre. Exhibitors may use either the on-site caterers or caterers approved by the Exhibition Centre. All outside caterers must obtain approval application to: Viparis M. Uri SLUCKIN – Porte de Versailles – 75015 Paris - tel: +33 (0)1 72 72 11 61 – fax: + 33(0)1 53 68 71 71. Unauthorised caterers will be refused access to the Exhibition Centre.

Stand surveillance
The Exhibition Organisers take responsibility for general surveillance only and do not provide individual stand security.
Exhibitors wishing to have their stand watched at their own expense must inform the Exhibition’s technical department in writing at least 24 hours in advance, giving the contact details of the security firm hired. We recommend that you have your facilities watched, especially at night, and would remind you that there is a significant risk of theft during setting and dismantling periods...

Damage or theft
All exhibitors automatically benefit from third party liability and exhibition multirisk insurance covering the goods presented and the stand fittings against material loss, wear and tear or damage including theft (see terms defined in articles 17 to 20 of the General Rules).
In the event of an incident, the exhibitor must report it to the police within 24 hours, otherwise they will loss their entitlement to insurance cover, and file in the claim form at the Organisers’ Office.

Dismantling hours

Stand dismantling will start at 5:00pm on 7 November and may last all night.
Vehicles involved in dismantling may enter the grounds of the Exhibition Centre from 5:00pm on 7 November 2009 (see Viparis file: access and traffic).
On 7 November at 10:00pm, the traffic of any vehicle and handling forklift outside the exhibition halls will have to stop.

Economic- Comfort – Luxury formulas
The storerooms and hired furniture on these stands must be emptied of their contents by 11:30pm at the latest on the evening the exhibition closes for dismantling by the fitters.

Cleaning
Your site must be left in its original condition. All refuse (carpeting, waste materials, adhesives, etc) must be removed. Any goods, fittings or equipment not removed by the stipulated time will be disposed by the organisers and the exhibitor will be billed accordingly.
For waste removal, we recommend that you contact the contractors responsible for cleaning the halls.
Any signs of wear and tear or damage noticed after the dismantling of your stand will be billed to you. The exhibitor is also responsible for all its service providers and/or suppliers (see agreement to restore stand location to its original condition).
