Its objectives are to:

- Identify the risks involved in products and techniques, and the documents that define their use
- Remind people of best practice and disseminate information to professionals

Founded in 1988, the Pavillon de l’Arsenal is an information, documentation and exhibition centre for town planning and architecture in Paris and the surrounding region. It is a unique venue where city developments and architectural projects are presented to all who are interested. At a time when urban questions represent one of the major development challenges for the Parisian metropolis, it is essential that they are presented in an informative and attractive way that stimulates debate and that allows the citizen to play a central role in the process of architectural and urban creation.

Explaining the “architecture” of Parisian metropolis, the way it has developed over the centuries, its current state and prospects for future development, and presenting the urban know-how of the city abroad are the primary missions of the Pavillon de l’Arsenal.

The Peintres et Peintures Pour la France association was formed in 1997 by the paint industry, bringing together manufacturers, retailers/distributors, painting firms and individual painters, represented by their respective trade associations:

- FIPEC: Fédération des Industries des Peintures, Encres Couleurs et Colles et adhésifs (paints, coloured inks, glues and adhesives industry federation).
- FND: Fédération Nationale de la Décoration (national decoration federation)
- UPPF/FFB: Union Professionnelle Peinture Finitions (painting and finishing association)/Fédération Française du Bâtiment (French building federation)
- CAPEB/UNA PVR: Confédération de l’Artisanat et des Petites Entreprises du Bâtiment (CAPEB) (association of craftsmen and small businesses in the building sector)/Union Nationale Artisanal Peinture Vitrerie Revêtements (national craft paint, glass and coatings association).

A committed association!
Its aims are to:
- Promote the building painting and decoration sector
- Inform the general public about the know-how of professionals in the sector
- Arouse interest in painting as a career
- Help to forge links between all industry players

An association that takes action!
By setting up poster campaigns to raise awareness, with the bus "Le peintre quel talent!" touring France, the association encourages the public and institutions to call on professional painters, tells young people looking for a trade about careers in painting and helps people to find jobs in the trade or set up a painting business.

Animated by specialized journalists, btpinformatic.fr is the first Web TV dedicated to IT and telecoms tools for the french construction industry.
