Targeting the RT2012, Technal and Jacques Ferrier Architectures have put in common their competences to propose 2 innovator double-skin facades for building refurbishment in association with photovoltaic technologies, improving the technical performances and giving a new architectural aesthetic to the building. First one, for commercial buildings, is a vertically or horizontally “wrinkled” outside skin fitting with the orientation and creating a dynamic aesthetic. The exposure of the panels can be adjusted optimizing the solar exposure. Second one, for residential, associate façade and roofing creating a superimposed skin on the building.
