With less than 5 months to go before it opens, things are looking good for BATIMAT. Despite a difficult economic situation, the French construction market is holding up better than in other countries. Numerous sectors are benefiting from the renovation market, which is maintaining 2008 levels, and are looking for a return to growth as the recovery plan and in particular the proposals of the environment initiative [the Grenelle de l’Environnement] begin to have an impact. Drawing on a year of commitments and work by professionals to create the building of tomorrow within the framework of these recommendations, the 27th BATIMAT should be every bit as exciting as the show was in 2007.
6 months before it opens, the signs are looking good for BATIMAT 2009. With its cluster of seven
shows in one, BATIMAT 2009 will as ever host a broad range of products and will enable its visitors
to discover all the new products in each sector. Given the current difficult economic situation, the
exhibitors are placing great emphasis on renovation and are expecting much from BATIMAT 2009, as the testimonials make clear.
Batimat 2009 at the heart of sustainable development and the energy challenges in the renovation of buildings.
